HOW DO I CARE FOR MY KOKEDAMA?
Different types of plants will require different amounts of food, water, light and temperatures. Its important to understand the requirements of your plant when choosing its location within your home.
Depending on the type of plant that you choose, will depend on how frequently it needs to be watered. Weight is a great way to tell when your Kokedama needs water, lift the ball in your hand - if it feels light, watering is needed.
To water fill a bowl or the sink and place your Kokedama in it for 10 mins until it is completely soaked through. Then leave it to drain in the sink to avoid unwanted drips.
All natural fibres will breakdown over time. The Natural Jute Twine that your Kokedama is wrapped in will eventually need to be re-wrapped or you can choose to repot it yourself.
Most plants need feeding at least once a month during growing season. Follow the instructions on the packet and add your good quality organic liquid fertilizer to your water while soaking your Kokedama.
